Welcome to the world of Brin and Melly, where friendship, adventure, and creativity come to life through storytelling and art. Inspired by a carving I created while working at Canadian International Schools in Guangzhou, China, these stories were written to encourage kindness, curiosity, courage, and the power of unlikely friendships.

The character of Melly was inspired by my first granddaughter, Melody, whose nickname is Melly. As a chainsaw carver, I have always believed that every carving tells a story. Brin and Melly grew from that belief, transforming a carving into a heartwarming tale for children and families.
